Before joining VOA in 2001, Jeffrey’s international media career included many years as a network correspondent and news anchor with ABC, NBC, and UPI. He also has considerable experience as a talk show host, including three years on ABC Radio. Jeffrey created and operated a ground-breaking London-based live-TV broadcasting Internet business from 1997 to 2001. Prior to that, he served as the State of Kuwait’s Advisor for Communications and Media from 1993 - 1997, rebuilding and upgrading state broadcasting operations in the wake of the 1990 Iraqi invasion and 1991 Gulf War.
His after-work passion is collecting and restoring antique watches from the first decades of the 20th century.
